I couldn't agree more! This is the biggest reason I get annoyed by players refusing to group up in games. MMO's aren't made to be solo (despite how that appears to be the direction most games are taking now -- making it easier and easier to solo your way to end-game and sometimes *through* end-game content).

Agreed! Im a big fan of what some of the newer MMOs are doing now.. Getting strangers to team up in the open world (not dungeons or instances) against something like a roaming world boss or invasion event. And not needing to be invited into a group, u just jump in to help and still get credit for participating. Its fun and makes great PVE.

Yeah! I usually play alone so I depend on making friends and finding others randomly.

Rift I aways thought had a great community, still does from what I can tell, not as great as it was at the start though. I'm hoping the Master Race PC Gamers will have a good community for this game, I feel most of the younglings will be playing on XBox. :p

Agreed with most your posts until this one. That is a very elitest comment and elitism will ruin communities in a heart beat. Hope this was just a brain fart..

I kind of agree with him in a way even if it does sound ******y. Not that the "Master Race" is PC gamers.. but the fact that a lot of children will be on consoles. Yes, sure some adults will be on a console playing this game but most younger people own a console over a computer because it's more affordable for their parents to buy. Growing up I didn't get my own computer from my parents until I was a Senior in High School.

What does MMO mean to me? Well... it means a few things. To me first and foremost it is a game that I can enjoy that is constantly filled with other people that I can interact with. This being either playing with, or playing against, or just someone to talk with when I'm bored and would rather just sit around and unwind after a long day.

I tend to play only MMOs for the most part because while I do enjoy playing games, I also enjoy the company of other people and the ability to interact and socialize with others simply put.

As for the PC thing. That kind of came off sounding kind of strange to me. The main reason I am ordering this game for the PC (despite the fact that I have a 360) as well is because I cannot play a shooter (that's not mass effect 1 or 2) to save my life on a controller and find myself very dependent on the keyboard/mouse for help. :)

Now yes, I could see that more adults would be on PCs since they tend to be more expensive. But so will the spoilt kids who are self entitled because their parents could buy them some watercooled, high end uber PC with SSDs for cupholders. So really at the end of the day it should more or less come to how you feel most comfortable or are able to play.

But you forget the strong magnetic pull that CoD has on 12yr olds haha

That's about what I'd come up with. Nodes, PvP, oPvP mean nothing to me....seriously. Last delve into MMO was pure beta and not enough people involved to really get a chance to quest/team. This will be a new experience. Hope it's a good one.
