Considering that Trion has never developed a PS3 game and didn't think it was important to do a beta to get feedback from console gamers at a time when it would be useful to development, I'd dial back on blaming Sony for any PS3 snafus. I get that you all love Rift and whatnot, but Trion hasn't done anything for me, ever, and the way they've handled their first console launch leaves a lot to be desired.

waiting 1 and a half days till its the 4th so it comes out in Australia. unless the Aus branch of xbox decides to release it in sync with the U.S to make it fair.

Hoping that the servers won't "arkfall" (Huh, you like what I did there? though you would.) and when I say servers I don't mean the game servers since I think I know what kind of shard tech they are using server side but the account servers to register keys and verify logins. This is were MMO's that expect a lot of users most on the time mess up because they already expected a lot of users and stress test the game servers and stuff but its not like they can really stress test the other servers very easily so they get over loaded and crash.

I was thinking about doing that but then I realized sooooo many people are going to rush out and lvl before doing any get togethers, maybe on the 1st weekend?

Well I expect to hop right on my Xbox and get right to it. The game is split up on 3 different consoles. I expect most of the players to buy for computers hitch would make Xbox and ps3 servers mostly clear so no lag or crashes. And expect my wife to get no attention for at least 24 hours

you and me both buddy, ive had sooooooo many bad launches I would like to think that after 5 years in the making this will be the exception. ill expect a lil lag here and there but hopefully it'll go fairly smooth for the most part.

We can always hope... I work for the 4 days after that.. so if its going to lag let it be then and not on my 4 off after that.
