Not freaking out its more wanting to get moneys worth from the order.

When initially ordered I checked (trion, gamestop and amazon) to see what pre order (PC) goodies game exclusive to each site, at that time and I picked amazon as everyone had the same packages just slightly different outfit skins and or weapons but it was fair across the board.

Had the car been on any site at that time that would have been my first choice as its far more useful in the long term then a weapon you can out level pretty quick.
And for those of you saying its no big deal since most will have that car within a few days I have to respectfully disagree, as we have no idea what the cost will be even if its in beta no guarantee that price wills stay the same at release.

Bottom line is (imho) all reseller bonus packages should be of approximate equal value, hopefully trion will give something to these resellers that many of us ordered from to even things out.

Yeah well we all did that pre-ordered. Then Steam came out with their ridiculous offers. Then the mass cancellations from Trion started. Of course Trion had to change something because those of US that ordered from Trion felt we got ripped off because of how late Steam jump on the board. Instead of jumping ship and running to Steam, I stayed put and now I get to reap my rewards for staying put. Now we get people screaming at Trion that this isn't fair because they changed one damn pre-order bonus to keep some sales directly to them?? Get over it, its business. If it pisses you off so much that you don't get one car over another car then just cancel your damn pre-order and go play somewhere else. For crying out loud people, you won't even be using most pre-order bonuses after the first week anyways...

You obviously thought you got your money's worth in the first place or you wouldn't have pre-ordered.

There is no price,we have known for a while now that it is an unlock we just don't know exactly what the challenge is to unlock it (could be linked to races or the stunt challenges we have heard about).

I wouldn't take what CS says and run with it. CS doesn't know everything.

Besides if it's only through preordering from Trion, then why would it be on the 360 and PS3 pages? You can't even order 360 or PS3 copies directly from Trion.

Its not just a steam vs Triton thing. Their are other retailers that trion pushed pre ordering from. If those other outlets do not get the car then why should we pre order from the. The pre order benefits should be equal across the board.

People aren't crying as you put it they are just are just putting their view out their. Changing the terms of a deal after you push for o e is not good practice. Why would anyone pay amazon and get less of a product. A pre order is a pre order and should have the same value no matter where you buy it.

I've got the strangest feeling that there are going to be exclusive arkfall codes included with the CE and UE box on some of it's contents. Probably not one time use ones, since none of them have been so far. But I would not be at all surprised if there are a few arkfall code goodies, or maybe even a list of all the codes.

I want to know where they lost sales due to steam? I havnt seen any news on this at all,so really I want to know what happened from the folks saying the game lost money due to steam

Check the many steam threads in the forum,a lot of people have said they canceled from trion to go with steam because of the extra stuff steam is offering.

I agree it is possible but i have witnessed the insanity of code hunting first hand and rumours like this may just send one or two of them over the edge :).We should be safe as long as nobody mentions the possibility of one-use arkfall codes.......DOH!

Well, the pre-order pages on Game.co.uk, Zavvi.com and Amazon.co.uk that are linked to from the XBOX and PS3 pre-order pages make no mention of the Challenger being included in the pre-order bundle....

Personally I think this is a terrible thing to do to their resellers as it was just added recently and will pull sales from them to Trion. I mean why even bother to have resellers if your just going to make your rewards so superior no one will want to purchase elsewhere?

I have always had lot of respect for Trion, but this shows they can be just as bad as other mmorpg companies!
