Defiance under the radar? Why Gamestop!?

Hi guys, I'm a new member on this website and I just wanted to make my first post happen.
I pre-ordered Defiance (Standard) for the Xbox 360 on full price at Gamestop, and I asked them if they're gonna drop a midnight open for it. Sadly, there's only 25 pre-orders here at Wisconsin, Sheboygan. They will only drop a midnight open if there's at least 50 pre-orders. I wanted a midnight open so bad but I don't think it's gonna happen because Sheboygan is a boring and quiet city. How about you guys? I'm not so lucky. :(

im getting a 3rd copy from walmart it 24/7

Well don't give up hope yet. Trion is known to burst out of the unknown and deliver the last week before release with loads of advertisements. So you may have a chance, but they like to keep the hype very low until near release.

Sheboygan isn't that boring I like to stop on way to Wolf river during the Brat Days. Also your lucky where I'm at they only have 3 pre-orders and we're about same size town.

I win , my ebgames got 1 pre order and they are doing a midnight release =D .... ohh wait no that was a dream =(

That midnight release sounds awkward as hell:/

there will surely be more preorders as release date approaches, maybe enough to justify midnight release

Wonder what they would do if someone pre-ordered enough games to force a midnight release then canceled all but one.

Usually if a midnight were to happen they'd make people know atleast a week before time. If a store just barely gets enough pre-orders the day before release, I wouldn't expect a midnight.

Most likely has to be a certain amount of people not just pre-orders. Also, you have no idea how messed up that would be to the person/store that would have to take all those cancels.

firstly welcome.

and secondly its because we want to keep them pesky trolls out! but seriously, there has been alot of questions about why not many know about defiance. i suppose with the big ps4 announcements, and other titles like destiny, firefall etc. Defiance has been a little lost in the crowd.

either that or they are hoping the tv show advertising will do a little more of the work.
