Xbox Live sign in issues 13/04/13

just went up for me

Cant get on either, from Newcastle UK.

Its wierd because If I sign out of my gamertag, XBOX LIVE LOADS UP with all the advertisements and all that. Soon as I try to login all that vanishes like I have 0 connection to Xbox Live.

good to see im not the only one having issues

I had the connection issues as well. I tested my connection and it worked fine but it would not let me sign into live.

Turning off my console and back on fixed it though.

Good grief. I was flipping out for a while - thought I was the only one, reset my router, adjusted settings, THEN it leads me to xbox.com/servicealerts (xbox newb - yes I am). I'm in US midwest, current time 3:50 pm eastern time. It doesn't sign in automatically like usual, so I go to 'test connection' and everything pops up aces and it signs me back in. Then it's back to kicking me out. Is it effecting xbox.com for anyone else?

One of the first things I did... no dice, unfortunately. Will keep trying, especially as Britain's Got More Talent is on now...
