white weapons w/ colored numbers

what's the deal w/ white weapons w/ colored numbers? picked up two like this and got all excited 'cause the p/u looked orange. when i checked them out, they were white but the stat numbers were orange and green.

well the green numbers are good, means a boost in those stats, ive never seen orange on there, but i have seen red which indicates a major drop in those particular stats, hope that helps some

hmm, i'll have to check again if it's red or orange.

Green? Red Numbers? Are you talking about the dam glow the weapon gives off when you pick it up as loot? Blue means its a blue item, green means its a green item. Red/orange means its a "recommended gun" for the situation you are in, don't ask me what its even supposed to mean.

ie. you see a green and orange glow = green recommended item.
ie. you see orange glow = white recommended item.

What are you talking about? The Glowing Aura is the Rarity of the weapon (White=common, Green=Uncommon, Blue=Rare, Purple=Ultra Rare, Orange=legendary). The Color of the numbers indicates a rise or drop in stats. The Glowing Ball of Energy above the gun when its on the ground (Usually a Red/orange) Simply Indicates a weapon drop that may be useful in the current situation.

I had actually wondered what the red "Glowing Ball of Energy" above weapons was.

no uh uh, he was talking about the stats and numbers when you look at the weapon, hell i wish i find orange, ive seen yellow, but not orange and the color on my tv is set right...now in the chat box its orange, but thats it

The stats... Comparing 2 weapons red means it is worse and green/yellow/orange(whatever color you see lol) means it is better.

Really? Thought this just meant it was a White weapon with an elemental/mod slots. The more you know...

Can you please screenshot the orange glow on a drop? If there has been one I must have missed it. :(
