What up fellow ark hunter...Can someone please tell me what key fragments are and where or how to obtain them? Can someone also tell me how to purchase an item from top-notch toolworks by the life of me i don't no what currency is before the script currency ?
Key fragment are obsolote and are no longer involved in the game.
But you can still see in the stats page.
so i can never buy from that vendor
its rep points to buy from a faction vendor
Key Fragments are something that used to be in the game during beta, they just never removed it from the stats menu in the inventory. I'd imagine come the patch it will be gone.Quote:

It is something that is more geared towards end game completion. It will explain it later on that you are able to complete contracts that change almost daily to gain reputation in order to purchase from the vendor, a lot of the stuff you need to be able to kill later game enemies to complete though.
Thing about that is the game really doesn't explain all that much what the contracts are or the daily-weekly kill quest for each faction. The number shows up in the I think Goals section so I guess to me the game company just expects players to run around killing every hostile mob until its finished.
