How long does it take to get bits in game when you purchase them in the 360 marketplace? And if it's supposed to be immediate, how do I fix it so they show?

How long does it take to get bits in game when you purchase them in the 360 marketplace? And if it's supposed to be immediate, how do I fix it so they show?
You have to select the amount of bits in the Defiance store via the Ego menu.

once you select 'get more bits' you select how many you want then it downloads the bits (might have to exit game to resume the download) then it's automatically added once you download it. You can either buy a defiance bits card or just pay ms points for bits at the in game trions store.
