Razor Hydra supported?
I've been looking into getting some kind of different controls for this game other than the mouse/keyboard combo. But I keep reading that a joystick is slow and/or clumsy for a shooter, though I have never tried it. It just seems like it would feel more comfortable and natural.
So I came across this motion sensing "dual-stick" type control system called the Razor Hydra. It works like the controls for the Wii. There's a list of what looks like over 200 games which support this product on the website, http://www.razerzone.com/minisite/hydra/supported. If Defiance will support it, I think it may be not only a very fun way to play, but also fairly viable with practice.
I eagerly await all of your helpful and/or trollish comments.

Whether a controller is clumsy or not depends on the type of game you will play, for most 'hard core' shooters where its all about speed of aiming and precision... then a mouse and keyboard would definitely help more, however if its a third person shooter, or has elements of platforming which require a little more hands on experience then m1+w... then it might be better with a controller for ease of play.
I'd say Defiance could work well on either, granted it will take some training to get used to the medium you've never tried.
