    He meant in comparison between consoles (PS3 &360...no one said anything about PC since the obviously discussion is why is PS3 getting more time).

    PC gamers really need to stop acting like elites. You aren't cooler or better because you play on PC...don't speak as if you're entitled to some kind of crown or something because your "system" is more powerful that mine.

    Okay, going to try and bring some actual logic before this gets too far out of hand.

    As for why the PS3 beta is 5 days (or 6 or whatever it is), I'm guessing they might have a bit more to hammer out than on 360. If 360 is only 48 hours, I'm guessing that means they have the code for 360 fairly stream-lined and ready to launch for the most part.

    As for those saying this game is "obviously more geared to PC" and/or "consoles are being shafted" because most betas have been on PC; I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's more than likely wrong. Right out of the gate, a console has a SPECIFIC set of hardware to code around, which is why more development happens these days on console than PC. Reason there's so many betas for PC is all the different scenarios of operating system versions, hardware setups, driver issues, etc... all things that aren't major issues on consoles.

    Beta is meant to find bugs, glitches, errors, etc... and iron them out... so that when a game goes full launch it runs as smoothly as possible. ;)

    I make it 37 hours;

    24 hours from March 25th 8:00am PDT – March 26th 8:00am PDT plus
    13 hours from March 26th 8:00am PDT – March 26th 9:00pm PDT

    Just more than and nearer a day and half than " just shy of 48 hours" (2 days)....

    Any reason why the March 15th date the retailers were giving out did not happen/were "wrong"? As the above dates were also given out by other sources before today...

    Yeah, I am guessing that the 360 networking is more stable due to the XBL backbone they get to use. I'm sure chat is easily integrated and hopefully XBL friends are integrated into the game as well.

    I'm guessing they are having problems with the PS3 version either due to hardware/software issues or because Sony simply isn't supporting them as well.

    I'll cast my vote with Zombie, beta phases aren't made for the people to just demo out the game to see if they're interested. They're testing phases, and while more open to people... they're meant to iron out all the details, and again.. they do not reflect the final product in the least, so simply being in the beta shouldn't be indicative of if you want to buy the game or not.

    If you're on the fence, then sit back.. wait until release and look up all the information that comes out about it, as well as gameplays.
