Preferential treatment...if they denied beta time by choice and if it was to actually be a jab at 360 users.

It could also be seen as preferential treatment FOR 360 users because they tested the 360 version more and therefore do not need the time. I'm not saying that's the case, but it is possible.

Wow...sarcasm much? He wasn't saying we were acting like Hitler and MEANT it. He just did it as a joke.

Found a usa today article backing up my claims about a normal schedule. It includes the following as part of the article

•35% of workers overall work on weekends. A slightly greater percentage of part-timers work on weekends than full-time employees. On average, those who work weekends work 5½ hours. More than half of sales workers work on weekends, the largest percentage among occupations in the survey. But weekend duty is a fact of life for only 20% of office and administrative personnel.
•82% of employed Americans work on weekdays, either full- or part-time. The average workday is 7.9 hours Monday through Friday

As you can see only 1/3rd of the nations worker work on weekends while 90% work on weekdays. So when scheduling the beta to allow there paying costumers access a simple google search(and common sense) would have given Trion plenty of imformation as to when to hold the beta to ensure maximum participation. Ofcourse the best option would be a 7 day beta some as to exclude as few as possible.

its more like if iPhone from Verizon comes with 2 free songs but the iPhone from AT&T comes with 4 free songs.

you are still getting free crap.

and now, on top of this, we(360 users) are getting access to the PC Beta as well.

they dont know how the servers r going to act when everybody gets on thats an accident waiting to happen and it will happen. only way it wont happen is that not many people will be playing the game. in that case thats whats going to happen losing xbox gamers from here on out good way to not have to worry about servers going down wont be nobody on there lol

And? Again, going back to the statement I made earlier... only a low percentage of the "nation's" population are military, law-enforcement, rescue/fire-fighters, doctors/medical, etc... does that mean their jobs aren't "normal" jobs? *shrugs*

Or perhaps I should take this to a platform that's a little more evident (and I'm NOT trying to be sexist nor stir any sexism)... if facts came out saying there's a higher percentage of females than males... would that mean males aren't normal? (Life expectancy for females is higher... maybe that means male lives aren't normal either.)

I agree that not knowing the complete details provides much potential bias. The end result is that we only know what information is being provided and to this point the betas that were promosed as a pre-order bonus are hardly equal; thus the backlash on the forums today.

At the very least having the 360 beta over the weekend and offering the PS3 betas as Monday through Friday would have been a more optimal solution. At this point the 360 community feels cheated and rightly so. While Trion may not be solely to blame in this, without better communication the fault of the matter rests firmly on them.

pc-low bugs on launch
ps3-less bugs on launch since its a week beta if they have real beta testers on ps3
x360- launches full of ******** bugs thanks to only 48hr of gameplay which isnt a real beta test ever. thanks for ****ing my vr of the game up...

I am a huge beta tester and love doing so but if you think who ever you got testing 360 right now is finding the good bugs that ruin games your wrong its the hardcore players that find that **** and they will abuse the **** out of them in full game since you dumbasses thank its cute to not work your *** off to give everyone pc-ps3-x360 a chance to ****ing test thanks for nothing cant wait to see fake number one players but at least i know ps3 still gonna be nothing but modders cause they dont know how to fix stuff on ps3.
