Beta Codes - Lets get things cleared up!
People, including my self still don't have a beta code, after pre-ordering the game.
Obviously, we will need these codes to access the beta.
I have contacted GAME (where i pre-ordered from) and they said they will send the codes out once they get them.
this is what Myll_Erik replied with;
''If you preorder from Trion directly, you will not get any codes as we already have your Trion account set up - you'll get an e-mail before beta starts.
If you preorder from outside of Trion, that retailer must give you a Trion code to apply to a Trion account - that code will mark you for beta plus mark you for preorder benefits.
If you are not getting your codes from retailers we will have something for you folks soon as we want to help our fans as much as possible.''

You might get an email with something that looks like this;

** UPDATE **
I have finally got my code from GAME. The weird thing is they sent me 2 codes, on 2 emails. This might be an error, but if possible, can someone who pre-ordered from GAME confirm that i was lucky to get 2.

Your unique code for access to the beta and other preorder elements is: ****-****-****-****-****
To activate your code follow these instructions:
1. Go to http://www.defiance.com/en/beta/.
2. Complete the set up process entering your name, date of birth, e-mail, password & select your platform. If you already have a Trion account, log in and proceed to step 6.
3. You will receive an e-mail from Trion Worlds with instructions for how to verify your account.
4. Click ‘Verify account’ link which takes you to the Trion Worlds website.
5. Enter your login details.
6. Click on the ‘Apply code’ tab and input the unique code received from GAME.
7. This applies all of the preorder elements to your Defiance account.
8. You will then be sent a beta code for your format via email (this may take some time).
9. Once you receive your beta code you will need to enter your code into your Xbox Live account or PlayStation Network account to gain access to the beta. If you have preordered Defiance on PC, your beta code email will give you instructions for downloading the game client and accessing the beta.
10. At the launch of the game, you will receive another email containing a code for the all other preorder elements.
Please note: The dates of the beta are as follows:-
PS3: from 3pm on 19/03/13 to 4am on 26/03/13.
PC: from 3pm on 22/03/13 to 4am on 25/03/13.
Xbox 360: from 3pm on 25/03/13 to 4am on 27/03/13.
