It looks like the Chesapeake Bay has filled in partially to become an inland lake, so presumably much of that surrounding land has been elevated a bit. I noticed that the terraforming tended to uplift a lot of geological features as it went.

I'm also intrigued that the Official Map has a lot of Mexico shown, with comparatively little Canada. That implies that we might see more ties to stuff south of the border as time goes one as well.

nice to know TEXAS keeps surviving

Well it looks like Chicago was nuked completely by the looks of the map. And the Space Coast of Florida is also gone.

If Miami still has a population, how is it in the Quarantine Zone?

Off Topic: I'd love to be able to go through Vegas and the Badlands. Even the Topeka Badlands.

Instead of Hellbugs we have giant Funnel-web Spiders and instead of POW's we have Cowangaroos... other than that we are sitting pretty (we gave the visitors Tasmania).

My hometown is Corpus Christi, TX, which appears on the map to have inverted itself from a city on a bay to a peninsula surrounded by water. So my guess is that climate change-induced sea level rise occurred as predicted and inundated the nearshore part of the Coastal Bend, drowning the city, but then arkfall-induced uplift from a terraforming device then raised the section of the old city. I suspect the part exposed on land now bears little resemblance to the old city that forms the current pensinsula, and is a twisted, hilly landscape covered with alien flora and dangerous fauna. Interestingly though, if you were to be foolish enough to scuba dive in the Irathian-shark infested waters surrounding the new peninsula, you would find the drowned outskirts of Corpus Christi, preserved just below the waves gently lapping on the fresh shore...

Mine is covered in a giant blue dome as a experiment in shielding gone awry. However, it saved the city.

Oh, terrific, so I'd be under Columbia. Hotseat of immigrants. Are they legal? Otherwise, nothing's improved over here. :p
