If Defiance gets cancelled by whatever idiot cancels great shows, sell the rights to BBC's Doctor Who Team.
They'll do it right and keep it on the air for decades.
Plus, Post Defiance London? I'd like that very much.

I loved it, great show. I cannot wait to see the next one, kind of reminded me of a movie. It wasn't like other shows that moved from one to another, it seems like it's one long movie.
Shades of Babylon 5 when it came to the interspecies politics. (Which is by no means a bad thing.)
And a hell of a lot of Shakespearian influences. With Nolan and Irisa's father daughter relationship (Which is a key element to many of Shakespeare;s plays with characters like Desdemona in Othello for example.) The Romeo and Juliet love story between Christie and Alak. And of course Lady Macbeth herself; Stahma Tarr.
Which as a fan of both Scifi and Shakespeare is a huge plus.
Add to that a very solid cast with;
Julie Benz & Jaime Murray (Who were both excellent in Dexter)
Grant Bowler who carries the character of Nolan like a homage to Han Solo. Plus he has experience in Scifi/Fantasy with both Lost and True Blood.
Mia Kirshner who was the enigmatic Mandy in 24.
And finally Fionnula Flanagan who is a perfect fit for her role as Nicky.
Personally I think we are onto a winner here.
I really liked it. It's not something I'm normally into, but I was surprised I liked it so much
Firefly meets Babylon 5, I liked it and because I did the episode quests, I felt more apart of the story. They dont have a huge budget, so its not going to be equal to Thrones or the like, but all in all, I really enjoyed it. Now the patch, thats another story. They have a ton of potential, lets hope they get that and get how to honor the fan base they are rapidly developing.
Special effects are for idiots who need things to look pretty...Take a look at The Transformers Films... the first one was okay i guess.. the 2nd and 3rd were disgraceful and yet people loved it because of the CGI. Myself and many others enjoyed the show and can easily see past fancy effects.. Oh look Battleship... more CGI yet a terrible film...
The Defiance Pilot was great, they are trying something never done before witht he show and the game and with the exception of dreadful support and updates from the game it is going well. I have watched the pilot twice now and both times the 1 hour and 20 minutes have flown by.
It does not matter how the CGI comes across you can easily get the idea. I suppose those of you claiming it was horirble due to bad CGI also don't like great classic games because of the bad graphics...
Absolutely amazing! :D
I really enjoyed the pilot episode. The show has a lot going for it. Did think some of the CGI could do with a bit of work. The battle with the Volge seemed just a bit over the top. Felt like I was watching an early 90's children's show on a Saturday morning.
All in all thumbs up. Looking forward to the next episode.
Might even push me towards buying the game (after the crap mix up with Amazon uk)
thought it was, well, ok. TBH, how many would really be saying it was good if it was a stand alone tv show with no game attached to it?
couple of nods to the game but not as many as you would expect with the way the show/game interraction was built up but that may improve. Car chase was completely cringeworthy, some other fx were pretty good. definite room for improvement but will stay tuned for a few more episodes to see where this goes
