At first i thought maybe they were some kinda of hellbug, but they're covered in fur and have a head like a mammal. So what are they and will we ever see them in the game?

I like to think they are going to introduce all kinds of creatures and blame it on the teraforming of the earth and destroying ecosystems and the earth forming new ones...but total off-the-wall and never possible to ever create a new species that fast.
