how the hell do i kill nim ?

any tips ? first round is ok but second round..... 6 of him vs lil old me... wtf!
would a shield with fire resistance help with them non stop fire balls or what ever they are?

Do a forum for final boss or last boss there's dozens of threads helping with this.

Also do a search for Nim Boss on youtube, ton's of tutorials there as well.

I just did this earlier today the second phase is quite difficult, i used an assault rifle and a bmg throughout the entire fight. Just sit on the far side of the room near a pillar and target the 6 nims however you please a couple shots from a decent assault rifle (mine was a 220 full auto with whatever that purple nano stuff is, completely modded) will take care of the nims, just roll when the fire balls come use your bmg to heal your shield if you mess up, theres an ammo drop on both sides of the room since you will run out. Same concept works for the third phase. hope that helps

lots of strafeing, and using a high damage weapon like a mass cannon and stay away from him on the 2nd phase and 3rd phase.

The first time I faced NIM I died quickly a 3-4 times, got frustrated and aborted the mission. Eventually read in forums about it and saw some YouTube videos. Made up my own plan, went in again and defeated that cheap boss. Following is how...

Equip a Respark II or better shield. Something with a low delay before shield recharges and has fast charging like 40% per second. The hit points on the shield are generally good enough. The shield I originally faced him with would take too long to recharge and was the reason I was dying too fast and getting frustrated.

I had Cloak power, so if he ever got me with a hit and I needed to run and heal, that's when I used the Cloak. I also found Cloak useful in the 3rd phase of the fight to get to a little distance and then Assault Rifle attack him. Using the Decoy looks like also really good based on YouTube videos because while he attacks the decoy with sword, you can do some massive damage with your Assault Rifle.

For Weapons, one should be a good 300+ damage fully automatic Assault Rifle or use a high clip capacity Light Machine Gun (what I used). The Assault Rifle would be easier I think, but I didn't have a fully automatic one handy, so just used the Light Machine Gun which are high clip but harder to keep aim steady. This is because you need a good distance weapon with high ammo clips.

The other weapon you take can be anything really. I myself used an Injector because NIM has certain pattern and he leaves himself vulnerable for short time and I liked that few shots with Injector on him, and he would keep getting damaged for a while even after he starts moving around too fast again.

Many people also recommend the BMG because it supposedly heals you while siphoning away NIMs health, but I think BMG would take too long and could get frustrating.

In short, Respark II or better shield. Cloak or Decoy power. Full Auto Assault Rifle (or LMG) plus Infector or BMG. I have also seen Shotgun work as the second weapon in online videos but that requires getting closer to NIM which I find too dangerous.

Edit: Oh and I used the Bio something Grenade in the 2nd phase... found that very useful to basically block one side while I used AR on other side to get rid of NIM clones.

Hold L1 and it recharges your shields. R1 damages Nim, i killed him first try using a Bmg.

Patience is all you really need, learn his timing and attack patterns. At first I thought round 1 was impossible now I can do it without taking a hit. For weapons I went with a powerful pump shotgun and rapid-fire infector, infector is good for running and taking out his clones without aiming. and the pump shotgun will do major damage when he gets right next to you, my shotgun with overdrive took out 70% of his health in the first round with one clip of 8 bullets. Personally round 3 is what got me frustrated it seemed like 2 hits would kill me at that point -_-
