Rumor has it that it fixes it self on first kill, got me pretty close to a heart attack though, and still remains to be seen if rumor is true.

Well don't make it that way.

Clearly some people have no idea who Trion are or have played Rift :p

Their patching and hotfix pushover is second to none, no other Company even comes close :cool:

I've played Rift.

trust me, if I hadn't and I didn't know who Trion was, I would 1) Not be playing this game 2) Not be as cool about the game's Launch issues as I have been.

this was mostly a ****-around thread, with some griping mixed in.

I am still patching, I have to reply in others post for now.... until of course, the patch finishes and I try to load my game to see what is broken for myself, then I will have the right to start a whole new thread about my personal anguish too.

Sounds like a programmer and developer failed and not a gamer fail. Unless they brought the players in to write the codes.

actualy anet was throwing out hot fix after hot fix soon after gw2 launched to try and fix as many major bugs as fast as possible... it was like every time i ran the launcher there was anew patch... so far from all the game's ive played anet has been the best with customer service and speedy hotfixxes.



if u played the earliest closed beta and demos of gw2 before launch... u would also notice how they changed the UI before the stress tests started.
