5. PROFIT!!!! Welcome to the real world of modern gaming. Been there, done that with the EQ where you had a community down on through CoH/V which by 2005 became solo, now its just easier to put out a product and make the quickest buck possible and if it tanks....try to make as much money to cover the production cost and what ever else came after pads the wallet. Everyone seems to "But there is crap community, chat is broken, and no one chats over a mic!" yet you forget...how often in real life do you stop and chat with random people on the street....probably not often, cause its irritating when someone interrupts your life to stop you in your tracks....don't see why its no different in a video game or on the street that people prefer their little own life then socializing with complete strangers.
So instead of complaining that there is a lack of community, try to either make friends which most often fails or just bring close friends with you to the Next(tm) game out there...don't complain and "Back in my day, we used dial up both ways up hill...GET OFF MY LAWN YOU WHIPPER SNAPER!!!". Personally, I wish I can strangle everyone who with their headseat that leaves their mic on...so far its either Starscream, wierd origional Star Trek like sound effects, or some dumb mother f-er who is getting yelled at by their parent or child is screaming in the backround or their damn dog barking. FFS, PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR DAMN MIC!
