what did most of you do before Defiance?

I've played just about every mmo under the sun. It used to be my job to review MMOs. Thankfully I don't do that anymore, and I only play the ones I want. I love a good MMO, I like the social aspects, being able to meet new people and share adventures with them.

I also enjoy fighting games, and play a ton of those on my downtime.

Mass Effect 3

Skyrim was my mainstay. But I played other games tomb raider Gears, BUT ALWAYS WENT BACK TO SKYRIM

Bioshock. Metal Gear Revegenece or however you spell that.

I got laid >.<

WoW mainly

Same thing I'm doing now. I had a life before the game, and have one after the game.

X-Com, Starcraft II and Diablo III mostly as far as gaming goes.

I was surviving hackers in WarZ partially, the other half of my time was spent on ForumZ the free DLC Hammerpoint Interactive supplied to me when the game went live i can honestly say the ForumZ is way more entertaining then the game itself.

I was working on another play-through of the Mass Effect Trilogy. This last time, I went Renegade, and chose Liara. I miss good, story-driven RPGs like that. Does anyone else remember Shining Force? Phantasy Star IV? FFIII? The stories told in those games have the same "feel" as Mass Effect.... totally immersive, makes you just want to live in their world... I miss games that make me want to do that.

I think Defiance has the potential to do that.

Before this? Revision for university. The last 2 days has been a glorious break from piles of anatomy and pharmacology text books and scary diagrams of body parts.

I was knee deep in the NeedWant's bevy of beautiful ladies until my scrip ran out...

Before that.. I was in my kitchen washing dishes...

Xbox I was playing borderlands 2 and I left The Walking Dead Survival instinct with one last achievement undone, this would be the perfect time to do it but I cant be bothered.

PC I was wasting my time with Sim City

I played, and still do, WoW.

Dead space 3, bioshock infinite, army of 2 devils cartel, black ops 2 and battlefield 3 hahaha.....

Defiance has taken up all my time since launch huerhuerhuerhuerhuer

Alternating between Guardians of Middle Earth (which is an absolute mess compared to this game), achievement hunting and trolling other forums. I never expected Defiance to deliver on ANY of my expectations but after the beta I was hooked in deep. Not much has changed hence my decision to register and start harassing this fine establishment.

I played Mass Effect 3 while "trying" to be a productive member of society...

I played a poop load of Super Monday Night Combat. Also, Starcraft 2 and Dota 2.

OT: WoW, Skyrim (modding and playing), and replaying Saints Row The Third...

Rift also by Trion

DJ MAX on the PSP and Monster Hunter on the 3DS. My most recently played 360 game was Skyrim which I will be going back and forth to with Defiance.

I also read a hell of a lot, so B. S. Johnson, anthologies of short fiction, Beckett and PK **** recently.
