Whats the cap.
Pretty sure there isn't a cap as the devs have said that you could *theoretically* unlock everything.
You should post this in general general so you can get a faster answer. I wouldn't of found this if I wasn't following another thread(xbox player). Anyways the cap is 5000 which would take above 2 years to reach
I thought he was asking about the skill tree. But yes, 5000 is the *current* level cap. I have a feeling that if a lot of people make it there before their estimate then they'll up it.
Nope it's definitely going to take that time. Based on the achievements/trophies I think 2500 might be the real max. Since with that much you can max out the perfect build for your role. Then after that its just completionist mentality, don't quote me on that though:P
According to the Ego Calculator you would need 540 ego points witch is an Ego Rating of 450.
Yeah I know what you mean, but they wouldn't do that for an MMO, they can't! They have to make it hard to reach full max so many people will see it as not really worth it so they just make another character to get to 2500 since it'll take a lot less time then getting 1 to a full 5000. Atleast that's how I see it. Like in DCUO, after lvl cap there's all of these achievements you can do which give you bonuses, but it takes sooooo Long to finish them I'd rather just make another character.
I would love to see that. When you make it let me know. :) From the sounds of it they plan on adding more stuff with the DLC's that is why Lance said he doubts anyone will make max, but then sometimes they don't realise there are people out there who barely eat or sleep or work and just game all day long. Im not sure I wish I was one of those people but maybe I wish I could be a little more like those people... especially when it comes to the working part. lol.
In DCUO lvls 1-30 are just practice. Once you reach lvl 30 the tutorial ends =P SP's (Skill points = 1 SP for 100 Feat points = in-game achievements) and CR (Combat rating, PVE gear's item levels determine this) are the "real" progression determiners.
I wish that in this game you can see if someone is high leveled player. I think in the IGN's stream they said the contrast wont be that huge (so pvping new versus experienced skills are more important, so the new has chance) but I still wish that once I've played plenty and leveled up I can go and help new players and I can just dominate the enemies. Much like I do in DCUO, sometimes I go and help someone low level and I have no difficulties at all and I help someone new who needed help which is rewarding
This is what I was saying. I feel once you reach around 1500 you will have most likely maxed out everything that you need for your favorite role. Then at 2500 you will have reached the perfect unlock for everything you need to play as a high level. 5000 is just there to optimize your power and unlock everything.
My EGO level will be... OVER 5000!
