as with most things in this game, from resevoir chicken to nim... it's not the game thats too hard, its you that is terrible. thousands of people do this content without exploits just by being somewhat competant. then the idiots who want things handed to them on a plate (the CoD generation) whine and cry and then things get nerfed. so that they can all be unique snowflakes who have done everything despite not being good enough to do it when it WAS actually a challenge.

Used a pistol and downed him in the first try; killing blow was actually a melee.

Don't worry your Chicken Schtako was key to winning that fight :) That's how you beat him. Roll-Roll-Shoot-Line of sight-Roll-Shoot-etc. Also, I had little to no problem killing him with an Auto Shotgun + Assault Rifle.
