Where are the instructions?

I would be enjoying this game more if I knew what is going on.

What do all the stats on the weapons and grenades mean? I understand the clip count and damage but no idea what others are.

How the heck was supposed to know to hit reload to explode a missile in the air?

I come from fps games so I'm not used to the rpg way of life. There is a lot to learn about in this games menus and such am I the only person having these problems?

And google doesn't give you much either.

This game is not user friendly at all. Even the help section which is devoted to providing you info doesn't explain anything at all.

What do each of the Nano effects do?
What are all of the chat shortcuts? (/friend, /invite, /group, /chat etc.)
Do I have any sort of storage?
You can roll / dodge to remove Nano effects?
How do I even exit the game?

Oh I just have to open up my inventory, hold down the space bar, select options, tab over to settings, and hit exit game? Seriously? You couldn't just use the ESC key for its only purpose it life? Or you couldn't tell us that we can just type /quit /exit or /logout to exit the game?

They REALLY needed to create a 100 page PDF instruction manual for this game.

That's breaking one of the tenants of game design isn't it - assume nothing about your player.

I do agree, most games are designed to introduce you to the systems of play, unfortunately, Defiance lacks in this area and you only get a gleaming of the EGO system. This can be problematic for newer players.

I think most stats are self explanatory

Bloom was the only confusing one, you can find meaning here

otherwise either google it or ask away in the forums and ppl will help you

How do I even exit the game?( Ctrl-Q )

BAM! (what he said plus a little more)

Why should anyone have to swap weapons every 15 minutes to build skill?
Why wont my loadouts stick when i sort them? (they drop perks and basically make it to where I have to dump all perk slots not in my primary character build)
Definitely need a bank of some sort.....
CHAT - CHAT - CHAT - need to say this more often i guess... then we can have the short cuts implemented (/pm, /invite, etc..) OH and the channels - lets make them work....

BUT over all - I am still a bit fanboyish - game is good, please fix these issues to keep us in game.
