I normally stay on the forum bleachers as a spectator but this seems like premeditated shenanigans.

The following [hi-lighted] has been discovered to have been left out of the censored version of the patch notes.

LOOT AND AMMO
● Added and updated ammo caches throughout the world.
● Tuned amount of ammo that drops from NPCs.
● Increased chances of NPCs dropping a weapon.
● Ammo crates have been added near the vendors at Point Bonita, Bug N Chug and Coit Tower locations.
● Removed orange glow that sometimes appeared over loot weapons.
● Removed any reasonable chance of players obtaining lock boxes without purchasing our Bits. Muahaha!*

Trion - If you're gonna let us know about a daggum door being fixed in some remote corner of the Bay Area, don't you think you could let us know that you're gonna drastically reduce the manner in which many of us were obtaining a core resource used for loot?

Mr. Richardsson - Really appreciate what I thought you were doing here and have stuck with it. Really hope you keep effectively leading the excellent work that has been done. I also really hope that you reconsider these types of changes or, at the very least, communicate to us the shtako is going on.

I usually bought lock boxes through the key codes i used to get from emergency events. Patch notes don't seem to be very clear though. Are you saying they completely removed key codes from these events? reduced them? i am so confused.

I've done most of the emergency events that I used to do and a couple of others with no key stones. Arkfall gave the same as usual.

Added note - I'm not saying it was balanced before, but the way they've now made it, it seems pretty crazy to try to get oranges.

yup they have taken them away, get your credit card out to pay for lock box's from here on out

i havent logged on since the patch but did they meke it to were you cant sell loot for arc salvage, then sell salvage for keycodes???

I think they perhaps wanted less of the boxes purchased? I mean I was picking up a box every hour or two. Mixed feeling on it, since I just vendor all my box items 90% of the time. They didn't feel special. Perhaps if they increased loot tables to add better gear from the boxes, and made them a less frequent purchase, that lockboxes would be sort of more exciting?

Im not one of those people who call conspiracy and throw a fit when easy access loot gets reduced, I think better loot less often is more enjoyable.

Even if they kept the loot rates the same and reduced the amount of keys and removed non arkfall key rewards..don't really care. My green and white gear I get through normal play does the job and I still get purple and blue items enough. As for orange gear..really don't want the good rare stuff to be loot piñata stuff that becomes mundane like the rest of the gear.

almost ego 2000 and ive only seen two legendaries.

bought many t2/t3/t4 boxes... many.. many... with my luck now that it will take about twice as long to get keys ill probally never see any.

A question for any further posts: Please note what platform/server you're on. I'm curious if they deployed this "fix" across the board.

Good god people. Go and find the shortest mission that awards them, or do ark falls, you don't have to pay money for the damn things.

It's not like you're only getting 1 a day now for not buying bits. **** sake
