I think the removal of the scope crosshairs is a glitch and will be back when Trion discovers the flaw. Believe me I'm upset over this too, but thankfully I have other weapons I can use in the meantime.
Hmm not sure I don't use the lmg however not to sound impolite but where you hit with fall off dmg ? That takes the scope away and cross hairs just roll to recover.
As for scopes at first I hated it but if you find the right scope it can be actually easier to play. You go from medium to medium long range. Also with a scope its easier to do sustained fire at the targets weak spot
I wish they would give us the option for Laser sights, like they give the snipers. I would rather aim the laser at the target instead of trying to scope on an LMG. Something I could turn on and off would be nice, like when "scoped" laser light turns on, when unscoped the laser is off.
The SAW is a beautiful thing when taking out those laser turrets. I can't hit crap with it now though unless I'm up close and personal with it. Its good for shooting those Bulwarks too. Its a crapshoot whether you're gonna land your rounds in its glowy ports right now though.
Outside of the people who glitched and have no crosshair... I think everybody else saying LMG sucks has poor aim. You don't need proper burst control - I can hold down fire, and shoot off into the distance and hit most targets. Unless you're trying to snipe with the LMG, I'm not seeing where the issue lies.
Don't know why the hate on the LMG. I been using it since day one and finally got the sucker to lvl 20. it's the highest dmg dealing weapon in the game and the reason why I am always number 1 on any arkfall.
But how many people REALLY hate on the LMG? I feel like it's the most used weapon type out there. Could be wrong though.
Its not the best weapon for every possible fight. Its not great for those dodge, move, strafe, dodge more type fights. For average assaults on hellbugs and arkfalls and stuff, I think its hard to beat. Oy they take forever to reload tho.Quote:
