FF3 (FF6) is my favorite. I put hundreds of hours into that game before I finally beat it. I would get to the final encounter and just restart the game.
Ah, childhood. So glorious.

cartridge. :)
Best thing about a cartridge...no load time. No scratches. Cool cartridge art.
I'd hurt him!
If there's a Play n Trade in your area, they're like a gamestop with a conscience, a heart, and a passion for games, you can buy a RetroDuo cheap, they play SNES and NES games, and are actually sanctioned by nintendo. They also have one that play Genesis and SNES games.
The place ALSO sells ALL the old school cartridge games. I bought a NES Final Fantasy 1 with complete box, instructions, map, beastiary and spell guide. :)
SNES huh? I read about those on an inscribed tablet once.
seriously though i gotta find a timeline to find the time difference here.
edit-Found it.

Nah, the nearest thing we have to that is called Discount Games and that old guy charges through the nose for vintage games.
I will re-live my childhood through ROM's! Which I actually love because they really open up boundaries to let you experience games that never made it across the pond.
The NES came out the year I was born. It was obviously an auspicious year! ;)
I wasn't really old enough to play and understand games until '89 though. I vaguely have memories of watching the Berlin Wall being taken down, but vivid memories of playing Super Mario Bros. and Track and Field with my best friend at his house while listening to The Beach Boys.
Sounds familiar.
My first console was an Atari 7800. I had the game Ghostbusters and Pole Position.

It was about the original post I made back on "Page 1"...
Here's the link if you really need it:

Best pseudo story ever! LMAO!!
Please be specific "Which Omega" you're directing your comment at next time. I almost replied with something less-than-nice! LOL
See the link above! I was complaining about something worthy of complaining about.
Dude, seriously! If you liked it so much...why did you cave-in and change your avatar at the first sign of someone else not liking it?!? Some WoW fanboy you are! LOL
Besides...it's not like it was a Hellbug cap!
Which I happen to be MISSING right now!!

In reply to everyone...
Thanks for hijacking my thread! (Sarcasm)
I was hoping the Devs might actually pay attention if this stayed on topic. So much for that idea.
We had the 2600 which my older brother got to experience more than I did, but I got in some quality Asteroids time. Then my parents were awesome and bought the SNES when it released in '90 and we had the joy and horror of getting our butts handed to us by our Mother whenever we popped in Street Fighter II later on.
lol...now back to the off topic topic.
No snark or condescension intended, but titling your thread, "Trion is beginning to feel like blizzard" doesn't even come close to letting them know about Hellbug Hats. And I'm sure they aren't excited or inclined to peek in a thread titled as such.
Secondly, this isn't even in the Technical Issues section of the forums.
Thirdly, have you submitted a ticket and feedback?
Fourthly, If you haven't, there's detailed instructions on how to do so in game.

Fifthly, (can you really just keep adding 'ly' to spelled out numeric lists?), you can always go to https://support.trionworlds.com/
*EDIT* Forgot detailed instructions link.
ok there a bunch of hints, but im guessing, we got ages from 14-54? (knew i should have paid more attention in history)
I'm just going to say "Yes." :D
I know that the various clans I've been part of over the years have run the gamut from eight years old to players in their 60s.
And with that, good night you magnificent bastards! And I love your long hair omega32x, I'm just giving you a tough time!
That wasn't "awesome"...but it was pretty cool to be a part of something globally historic!
I was blind-drunk for 3 days with two of my Army buddies on German triple bock and Russian vodka. I'm not sure...but I may have some illegitimate children in Germany too! Hehehehe!!
The awesome (and sometimes not-so-awesome) stuff happened after that time period. But thanks for saying so anyhoo!
Well I would hope they'd want to know "Why" I would say that. Since I've tried every other manner of communication with them without any results...in my frustration...I figured this might get their attention.
Maybe so...maybe no!?
Enough people besides myself have complained about it there (which is where I saw a thread...I believe) so I figured posting here would give a voice to everyone else with similar issues/complaints.
Yes.
I have...see "Thirdly" answer above.
That was my first stop on April 2nd.
Bottom line...I'm beating my head against a wall here because I'm use to AWESOME support from Trion (Rift) and didn't expect a new dev and cs crew full of slug-monkeys throwing more wrenches in the mix.
I remember back in the day (two years ago)...being able to CALL Trion support and actually speak to a funny and friendly customer service people (who was also a Rift gamer so they understood).
Aaahhh...the good 'ol days!
Maybe that's why I'm a bit "spoiled" when it comes to Defiance!
I too love what I see with the game and it's HUGE potential. I also enjoyed the show...even watched it twice!
But I just can't get past the complete lack of communication and progress with any of my support tickets.
I'm probably just venting and need a whiskey sour or something to take the rage edge off. Haha!
I hope soon rather than later!
And my scrip back...and my other gear...and my Hellbug cap! Damn it!! :p
Exactly! I'm 559 months old!
