My game plan for release day is :
1) pick up the game
2) buy some beer if my supply is low
3) order a pizza while the game is installing/updating
4) get lost in Defiance. Some story missions, some side missions, some random wandering

Well, assuming GS doesn't do a midnight launch for this I'll probably pick it up on my lunch break, obssessively check this forum for info about playability at launch and install it when I get home. After the 4 hours I know it's going to take to get the D1 patch I'll fire it up and then get on here to grumble and groan about the servers being down and reading the posts from the lucky few who were able to get in before things went awry.
If on the other hand the D1 doesn't take forever and the servers haven't collapsed under the weight of the sheer asskicking we're delivering to the Hellbugs then I am going to quest out until I pass out. I will probably also be sending out mass texts to my gamer friends describing the unadulterated awesomeness and asking them why they haven't bought it yet.
play an hour-provided its a smooth launch-after putting the kids and *cough*wife to bed then perhaps make time on the weekend
As of now my plan for launch day is really nothing (in terms of the game that is). I have class all day Tuesdays and plans that evening so I doubt I will even have time to pick up my copy from Gamestop. I will likely grab my UE copy on Wednesday and after work that evening finally get everything installed. Kind of wish the game launched next week when I am on spring break but oh well. I have no doubt this game will occupy many hours in the coming months so I am not too concerned about playing on day 1. Kind of works out since I no doubt will check the forums at times on the 2nd to see how the servers are holding up. I am hoping for a smooth launch, but expecting some issues nevertheless.
