Ofc it's not direct, but I feel the areas provided are large enough that we can cross that Tahoe line and go down to LV similar to the trek from Madera > SF

I agree with this completely. They said that people would leave the show and show up in the game, or leave the game and show up in the show (which already happened with the first episode missions). I think that is how most of the connections will go between game and TV show or if some major event that effects the whole US we would see it in the game. You want to keep it separate for the people who don't watch the show or don't play the game so they can still be something by themselves and not rely on the other to be successful.
so the two can each evolve on their own path, without stepping on each others toes too much
But if each evolve separately then what's the point of all this? If they lanched a game and a show that have the same general area and the same timeline in common, what's the point to separate them? Ok, one is a game and the other one is a tv show, I thought the idea was that one completes the other and vice-versa.
As for the vocal few who would demand the death of a character in the movie simply because they killed it, well, I guess they'd recieve just as much attention as one of those hobos sitting at the street corner with a sign that says "The wold ends tomorrow"... the only difference is, the hobo may be right.
And reading the replies, I have to wonder, how many people actually want the show and the game to be totally separated?
Speaking of series connection, did anyone try Redeeming or entering the code on the Biomans chest. Please tell me it wasnt just me.
Im guessing in future DLC there will be the actual town, who knows maybe even a player market wohooo, the Vorge or what ever they are called and them strange wolf bear bug things in a forest. Really makes for an anticipating ride. Hope im not wrong.
Simply because it would have been complicated to avoid thousands of characters in the show, IE all the players.
