So, does anyone here have any experience or knowledge about the measurement system they use to determine success?

I believe the system is similar to "if I can make my yacht repayment, or afford a pony made of diamonds ill keep it around"

Grrrr I missed that; you are right. Game was 60million show was 40million. That will change what I was thinking thanks for pointing that out.

AS many have asked do Tv exec's take into account that most peoples consumption of tv, especially among the younger generation, has changed? People use catchup/ or digitally record for watching later.

I watched it at a later time when i'd not get interrupted....

I never used to worry about TV shows ending abruptly but these days good shows get cancelled when advertising revenues just not good enough...(or when a TV exec aint getting back handers?lol)

So is their outdated way of collecting the viewing figures that's flawed and/or outdated?

Yeah 40 mill is still a little pricey, but I think alot of it is 'up front' costs rather than repeating costs per season. Meaning that with most of the work already done for the CGI sets etc, the longer the show runs the more it will pay for itself.

I believe I heard they've already begun work on Season two also, so thats a good sign. I think if it keeps Warehouse 13ish numbers through the second season we'll be okay.
