This is a pretty spot on thread

    http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...grim-locations

They're easy to spot (when they're actually there!), mutants have a big rocket launcher on tracks, 99ers have logs and huge tree stumps and dark matter have big grey boulders in their events.

Went to that location and completed two random events then the raider one spawned. Thanks for that!

However I am running into a suprising amount of people with the exact same problem, which makes me realise, making em this rare when it is a TIMED pursuit, is a big mistake.. you cannot expect casuals to log the amount of time that is needed to find all of these, it is completly unreasonable..

I have been fighting to keep having this kinda content that disaper when new episodes air, but this will only work if pursuits for these episodes are something even casuals can realisticly finish within the time given.

PS: yes I know a bunch of their spawn spots, aswell as the need to clear out nearby emergencies..

I will likely be able to find mine eventually, because I have a absurd amount of free time, but at this rate there are plenty of people who will not have a chance in hell at getting them all, which will kick up a even bigger ****storm in regards to episodic content.

So please Trion, look into making these much more common before it is to late.

Also, when you insist on holding back C&H, you seriously "finish" that pursuit for everyone.

Given the timed nature of the episode pursuits these things need an icon on the mini-map like side quests.

I found a location for a San Francisco Armistice event (help pilgrims). It was called Uninvited Guests. It was just off the road to the east (<50m) immediately after crossing the bridge into San Francisco. I had actually given up and was leaving san fran when I found it.

pays to read what you quote, like I say in there I am already well aware of where they can spawn, and how to get them to spawn, that does not however mean the will spawn in a timely fashion.

I have to say this is a poorly done one time event. hopefully (Not holding my breath) they fix this to where they are a timed event that spawns every 5-30 minutes besides just saying they are random, and take forever to spawn or not spawn at all.

    Good Concept, Poor Application.

I agree. I enjoyed the episode missions, but this was very poorly implemented. There are requirements for some of the timed pursuits that cannot be met because Trion included requirements to do content that they haven't bothered to include in the game, there is absolutely no indication that you have to clear other emergencies to get the pilgrim emergencies to spawn, and they're requiring you to clear emergencies (with no way to tell if you're even in a place where pilgrims may spawn) immediately after they removed any incentive to actually do emergencies, making it far less likely that they will crop up accidentally. I get that their documentation has been poor from the start, but even if they had provided some indication of how you were supposed to find the pilgrims, this was a bad way to implement them. It's like they were looking for a way to maximize frustration and wasted time.

Let's be clear. An hour of wasting our time is not an hour of added content. Requiring more time to complete a goal when we know we're accomplishing something and we're doing something interesting is fine. Requiring more time when we're accomplishing nothing and doing repetitive tasks is bad. Requiring more time when we're accomplishing nothing and doing repetitive tasks with absolutely no indication of whether we're even in the right place or whether the thing we're wasting our time on is something that may eventually lead to a success is jekking inexcusable, especially when we have a limited time in which to do it.
