Server shards?
If anyone knows how the "server shards" work could they possibly explain it a little bit,because since the patch I have been feeling like there is nobody else round ever.Last night I did a whole major arkfall alone,there was nobody else around at any of them.Is this just because of my playtime(2am mst-around 7am mst)
Before the patch I still found alot of people in my vicinity or arkfalls etc. Now it seems like almost I am playing asingle player campaign.This is not a ***** post-just confused as to why there is nobody ever around?

Shards spread people out to reduce lag. But since yesterday people cant play and so on so might be a big empt of course at that time of night it being a bit empty isnt that shocking either hehe.

When I play in the early mornings, say, around 1-2 AM PT, I find myself soloing Minor Arkfalls for the first 5 minutes. Eventually, 3-5 more players may show up. When I play in the evening or morning between 8am to 10am PT, there are a ton of people. I think it just happens to be that particular time of night, but I honestly don't think there's any other reason than that. There have been plenty of other MMOs where it was like this for me, as well.
