You boggled my mind. @_@ You still play the game how many years after release, and question why it was given a 9?

WAR had a LOT of content, was the first game to have a working open world quest system which following MMO's all copied, had an awesome artstyle and competative PVP and from what I remember, a lot of PVE, multple races and classes each with different starting areas and unique quests.

Defiance has lamps. Lamps that you launch into the sky.

Them's some pretty lamps, man. Part of the new patch, you can't say they don't give us nowt.

Reviews go where the money goes. Trion probably only sent him the game instead of a complete swag bag and some cash along with all the DLC's for free...so he gave them a 5.9. IGN hasn't been credible since...****..I can't even remember when they were credible and not biased as all hell.

They'll give the next CoD a 10 though even though they produce the exact same game every single year for eternity..automatic 10

Just like every other review out there too, they're all getting underhand payments except Defiance, because Defiance is the only game with integrity that didnt give reviewers a load of swag.

In response to Nidien, IGN scores on Call of Duty games have been decreasing each time a new COD comes out it seems to get less, I think the latest one got an 8? If I remember correctly, they're too getting tired of the same game being released year after year.

I liked the protagonists, villains, and all sorts of other minor baddies a lot more than anything else in Skyrim's main questline or civil war stories (the only content I really enjoyed in Skyrim for story was the Dark Brotherhood), and while the first half was sort of a snooze, I thought things picked up in the second half. Better epic moments than anything in Skyrim. Mr. Evil Dragon was a complete joke of a villain and the fight against him was awful. Nim Shondu >>> Alduin, or any boss battle for that matter. There's nothing idiotic about that, but people will say, oh Skyrim isn't a great game because of its gameplay, it is great because X reason that is actually a load of shtako.

Also, don't call me an idiot just because you disagree with me. That's just rude. I don't call you an idiot for not being able to actually explain in words why you think Skyrim is so much better than Defiance. The analogy has a lot of merit and I think you know it. Both games are buggy as all hell, lack any sort of end-game content, repetitive sidequests, etc. So you can't own your own home and get told they used to be an adventurer like you, but at the end of the day that stuff is fluff.

@ Derity: WAR PvP was bad and you should feel bad for calling it competitive. I don't know how Mythic went from DAOC to WAR, THAT boggles the mind.

Bioshock is not a masterpiece. It is the same 7 hour, linear, story driven game, as all the other bland, dumbed down, linear, so called, 'masterpiece' games out there. Defiance is not trying to follow those games and I praise it for trying something different.

Lol im never hunched over a desk.. I have both Xbox 360 and PC in my living room and play on the PC with a wireless xbox controller unless the game requires a Keyboard and mouse.... there is a huge difference in the PC and Console versions of the game.

Edit: oh yeah my set up cost $700 dollars.. and all i really need to do is upgrade my Video Card and add Ram if needed.
