how the hell can you beat this. i been at it for awhile now -_- tryed a higher shield, respeced and all that.

Can only get silver so far but i used a respark and some defence perks.Keep running from the get-go and you can get a few easy kills from guys running to there positions.After that i just ran circles round the building and used the cover near the truck to top up my shield.
Hope that helps a little.
Respark shield with health regen, make use of all the cover, while you're there look for the next big group of red dots on the map then unload on them when you pop out from cover. If health is low, use Cloak.
Except you can't use EGO abilities in Hotshot missions...Quote:

Lol I spent ages on that quest, on the upside, they spawn in sequence, work out the sequence and silver is easily obtainable, I found they spawned anti clockwise around the map, but as for gold il leave that for the experts lol
im pretty sure this is bugged. Whenever I reload the shot gun the numbers go crazy and sometimes I insta-fail
Ok the description of Moonshine is atrocious, heres how the Hotshot works.
You start out with a shotgun with FOUR rounds in it. Each time you kill a bandit, he drops ONE shell you can pick up. If you EVER run out of shotgun ammo and swap back to your normal weapons, you fail.
The perk 'Scavenger' helps TREMENDOUSLY on this because at level 2, you pick up TWO shotgun shells per kill, meaning as long as you are not a horrible shot, you will never fail from running out of ammo (the reason most people fail this)
