Remove EGO powers from PVP

Cloak doesn't ruin it. Do a lot of people use it? Sure. Do they recloak after shooting? Yes, if you didn't light em on fire. But guess what, when their cloak runs out they're SOL. Rush em, Overcharge em, or just plain frag them. Pretty much any standard shooter response will work.

hey chip this seems like a good tactic but what do you do when you get a premade group of all cloak shotty builds? cause i have heard this is happenign alot in PVP

My last match tonight was ALL cloakers, i think i was the only one in the entire match that wasnt cloaked , thats what brought me here, its definately happening.
But it did make for some wierd dynamic, watching a guy decloak and then get chain killed by another guy decloaking etc .

I think they should try it for a week or so because at the moment, people are just fed up with it. It's not just cloak either, OC is silly as well and blur + the shield ignoring stuff from perks that work while blur is active makes PvP just constant insta-killing. It's not fun, it's not "strategic" and it most certainly isn't exciting to keep running from the spawn point.

Cloak is quite OP tbh, if you have a playstyle for instance, that was overcharge and a shotgun you are severly gimping yourself. Overcharge gets a 30% damage increase each shot, but cloak has a perk that does that when cloaked and you have an added bonus of going invisible and regenerating your shield. Why should that power have the same dps for one shot and then be able to hide, heal itself and do the extra damage of another power again.

As said in another thread where i replied lets just nerf it all shall we.

I mean they nerfed infecters (still play with it and hf) and shots .Seems ppl arent satisfied and we
need to nerf more.Lets just have fistfights only in pvp.

Yes i use cloak and shotgun,no i dont sit in a corner when my ego is down,i kill 9 out of 10 shotguncloakies.

When i get killed it is ussually a lmg/sniper player not even the shotgun cloakie, use you reaction and wsad.
+yes even without shot and infec i get decent scores,besides that my blur is almost full and ill switch to that then.

And like chip says use fire for cloakies when ige thit with fire you ll see me go right in your face or run around the corner rolling on the floor like crazy.

The sentence cloak and hotgun =op is gettn boring.

Why not talk about rocketjumpers now thats anoying as hell.That and scriptusers thats the only 2 things in pvp that bother me for the rest its fine.

Well, I seem to get on fine with overcharge and my LMG, they don't seem to last 2 seconds lol.

Adapt and overcome. I pretty much only use fire in PvP and almost always roll SMG/AR and LMG. Maybe it's just how I play, I dunno. Keep moving, and if you notice a pattern exploit it. Don't really know what else to say. I'll admit, there are times it doesn't work out, but that's part of the game... you can't always be on top. Regardless of the game, there's always someone that uses lame tactics. No scoping, spawn camping, etc. No matter how you patch the game, there will be a new one. Removing powers isn't the answer.

Dude seriously? Paintball guns and nobody dying? Im not sure if you checked the rating on this game but it clearly states that the game is rated M for MATURE. Furthr more, i dont know what kind of shooting games or whatever kind of games you play where there is no room to move around, dodge, take cover, etc but please go back to whatever game it was because we dont need or want players like you in Defiance and in any other games because that doesnt make any sense at all. AUTO AIMING? thats not needed, learn to aim, and stop complaining about how other people are better than you, theres a saying i always go by in real life and videogames, you either get good or get beasted, the choice is yours and you decide. As far as the EGO powers go, its whatever i use cloak but i use assult rifle and sniper rifle and it gets the job done, and i always take down a shot gun person using cloak, its so easy but imma let you figure it out how. Last i dont care if this post of yours was ment to be funny or if you were just joking, your post all together was a joke.

If they remove powers, you all crying babies will stop play this game, cuz you realize there is not so big problems with the powers ,but in yours play style, weapons from loot.... and many many others things that you cant imagine.

shame,and face palm. How people intend to achieve something if they even can't read with some understanding ?

I frag with cloak something around max 4 frags in one round, from about 10 frags or more at the end of match. So cloak and shot gun isn't primary frag maker in this game, and if some one use cloak only for frag maker cheap machine It will be sooner or later fraged too, or just get bored.
