What do you think bits will buy

I'm pretty sure it will be cosmetic items like unique outfits, unique skins for some vehicles and don't forget the boosts or whatever they are called that increase xp gained, scrip found and all those. I'm not sure but I think most of it will be BoP and therefore not tradeable.

That is news to me, who said gear is based on your rating? As far as i'm aware, gear is completely random. Since there are no "levels" I don't see how this would work than.

You need a certain EGO rating to see later weapon drops, and you need a Certain EGO rating to equip gear.

Also, dosnt it cost 5000 bits to start a guild? (+ a ego rating of so much)

News to me.. Oh well, i'll just stack up on keycodes than.

Check Planetside 2 and LOTRO to get clues.

Cosmetics: cars, bikes, costumes. Monthly/weekly boosts. DLCs. Maybe uber weapons and shields (but I doubt it's a good idea for B2P game).

Most likely currency will not be transferable between accounts.

Instead of speculating, you can just look to the Cash Shop they use in RIFT.
