So whats left?

Let me start by saying I love this game,

Pure and simple, the combat is fun and while it seriously lacks the social element of an MMO, I am having a blast playing it, and I've convinced 10+ of my mates to pick it up.

That being said, I've now hit 1400 EGO, finished the main story line and was quite happily working my way through the challenges.

The problem is, I cant do that anymore, a good 70% of the challanges I have remaining and broken:

Arkfalls - Reset kill counter each time

PvP - No cap/hold, Reset kill counters each time, Cant get a shadow war

Races - The Adding time problem has stopped me getting gold on 20+ attempts in which ive come in under the time for gold (This one I can accept that it might be me not being good enough, since I have seen people in the black dodge, but still if i cross the line under the time, I should get gold :/)

Reputation - The system of spending your rep points means holding onto all the rep to max it out, before I can buy anything

I'm still loving the game, but over the past few days, its turned into - Log on, do my rep missions if i can (see capture and hold above) and log off.

Yes I could grind for oranges, but the game is a cake walk (which I happen to think works in its favor) but without a proper challenge, spending time running the same simple co-op maps to get gear I really dont need doesnt sit well with me.

So really my question is, what are other people doing to keep going? I cant be the only one that is at this sort of stage?

A number of us are in the same position, you'll be told to get to EGO 5000 before you can say you have nothing left to do.

that's kinda hte funny thing isn't it?

you run out of legit content long before hitting that.

it's basically the same as saying to people in swtor to grind huttball 10 billion times for a set of pvp gear before complaining that huttball has gotten old for you.

I'm playing other games. Between the leaked copy of Blood Dragon, Dawn of Fantasy, and Defiance. I've got my plate full plus some.

This game finally broke my 3 year League of Legends addiction. Please god dont make me go back ^^

I find myself with not enough time to do more than contracts each day, maybe a side/story mission or two. Kicking myself because I'm basically playing this game like I do every other MMO (just do the dailies).

Still, it's fun and progressing my character slowly. Really want to hit the 1600 mark at least to start seeing new loot.

Yeah, at 1500+ ego I think I ran out of "legit" content at about the 1k mark, then I just started with pursuits.

Problem is you can't drive around and farm keys anymore, you can only farm a certain mission for 3 keys every 5min or.. less depending on how many others are doing it.

Co-OP over and over and over until your eyeballs fall out for the 5000 kills for living to kill V

No point farming hot-shots for mod's since they don't have synergies on them

No point farming ego for 4000 ego outfit since the time isn't worth looking cool since no one really cares what you look like..

Only reason to login is to do the good old daily "reputation" farm, for some mod box for the chance of a blue synergy for a gun you acctualy use//

Meh! Maybe I might find something to do this weekend

Only at 700ego, and been sorta done since 550.
What I really wish was the co-op missions were MUCH harder.. like to the point where you NEEDED to use teamwork to beat them.

Like, lock down the turrets so you have to use cloak.
Timed missions to add a chance to fail.
Escort missions with limited life where you can heal / protect the VIP.

Something to make the game a fun challenge. Believe it or not, I like a game where there is a chance to lose. **sigh**

I would welcome a challenge, I'd like to see a hard mode sooner rather than later. Optional I might add. A lot of people seem to be having trouble with Nim
