You're still here. You're apparently still playing. You're apparently still having fun with it.
But some reason there's a lot of people who want to complain about mechanics that obviously weren't intended for the game anyway.

Yeah, that's the thing. You're not going to get more value out of time spent by hitting the forums and complaining. So you don't hate the game. You've dropped 67 hours (which is an interesting number, since /played responds in days, btw). That's far more than your usual title. You like the game and enjoy playing it in small bursts. There's nothing wrong with that.
You haven't said you actually plan on quitting the game, apparently.
But you do want to make long comparisons to WoW. Once again, for the like 1000th time:
This game ain't WoW.
You spent 67 hours on a game you consider to be a "clearly inferior product". That you also say you enjoy.Quote:
lol: Trion must love fans like you. You're the polar opposite of the hater troll. You're a fanboy troll. Blind to facts, ignorant to logic, senselessly in favor of a clearly inferior product (How many good games score out in the 5's on IGN, a notoriously generous grading scale). You're truly an asset to any game developer hoping to cash in on naive fans with unreasonably low standards.
Look, both you - it's this simple: do you enjoy logging in, running around, and shooting the hell out of things?
This isn't a hard question. It doesn't take a three paragraph long response. If the answer yes - then this is probably a good game for you.
If not, go play WoW.
lol, someone get this guy a medal. If "broken record" were a serious illness, you'd be getting rushed to the emergency room.
You really are slow and ignorant. I've said in exact words I don't hate the game 500,000 times. I'm not going to sit around quietly just because the game offers 70-100 hours of enjoyable content.Quote:
So you don't hate the game.
Do you even know how MMOs work? Seriously, have you EVER been a part of this before? You're clueless. MMOs thrive on community - developer interaction. Community complains, developer patches. Community complains, developer patches. Thats the cycle. Thats the way this works. The only thing here not working, is you. You're slow, you really don't understand things. You don't get to say "IF YOU PLAY IT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN!" I complain BECAUSE I play it and I want to enjoy it more. This is a flawed, inferior product. That doesn't mean I hate it.
You're a master of ignorant trolling and putting words in other's mouths. What a complete childish pest.
The funny thing is, the guy who apparently loves and enjoys the game, still has nothing better to do than make a fool of himself online by trying to respond individually to each and every complaint someone has about this game. You've posted here 300 times man. Obviously the game can't be that good if it isn't holding your attention long enough to stop you from making a joke of yourself over here.
What a uniquely simple mind you haul around. You fail to find any middle way between 1st place and last place. Either we have to think its the best game ever, or we have to quit it and hate it. -Sigh- Children and their absolutes.
Hahaha, yes! Yes, thats EXACTLY what I think, because thats EXACTLY how it works. My one post, this one topic, one single complaint, changes nothing. But the collective sum of THOUSANDS of voices ARE heard by MMO developers. Thats how patches are released, thats how certain weapons/classes receive nerfs and others receive buffs, they release a product, we play it, we tell them what we think could be done better, they apply pieces of it to future updates. Thats how every successful MMO in history has ever worked. For you to sit there and imply its hopeless optimism or fairy tale thinking - Yes, you are truly mindless and ignorant. You've never been part of an MMO community before, have you?
MMOs are unique in that they offer a developer endless "second chances." A proper MMO is based on constant developer-community interaction to stay up to date with whats working and whats not, and fix them as quickly as possible. The fact that I need to explain this to you is such a testament to your utter lack of knowledge regarding any of this.
Stop over emphasizing the comparisons to WoW. Its just another petty attempt in a long line of petty attempts to discredit the opposing side here.
You've discredited yourself in ways I couldn't even begin to accomplish through my own arguments. Will be ignoring any further attempts of yours to troll. Your inability to make an even somewhat respectable point on the topic is proof enough of what a waste of time it is debating with you (Not that you've come close to debating anything so far).
To move on from that annoying child, I have this to say to all who aren't so familiar with MMOs:
Patches are 50% about new content, 50% about addressing and responding to community complaints/suggestions. Anyone who doesn't understand the sheer value of whining to an MMO developer has never been a part of a successful MMO community. This isn't Call of Duty, what you see isn't what you get and we can input and help change this flawed game for the better. Don't think you're being a whiney baby by sharing what you feel could be done better, you're helping the developer gain valuable input whether they respond to your specific post or not.
Every change ever made in an MMO has been based on endless whining by fans on forums. This is productive to anybody who would rather NOT quit the game like me and instead see it realize its potential. This game will never be what it could be if we take the advice of jerks and "Shut up and play." If you feel you've valuable input that could make this game more successful, SHARE IT. Someone is reading this, that I can guarantee.
Yup and that stuff takes time as well. I mean hell look at WOW and the amounts of changes it had to go through to get where it is today. Defiance and 90% of MMO on the market are just like that as well. Changes will come that will help improve the game greatly. People just need to chill out and relax.
