Is there a way to trick specific players into quitting....
No, it is because this new generatiom is all about give me more and give me perfection NOW! Instead of playing a game realizing some issues and actually reporting or trying to help fix a problem. Spoonfed overly sensitive brats.
I for one, Have not really had a whole lot of bugs. It is unfortunate if people have had them so frequently. Report the bugs and file a ticket for them as others have said, and just be patient. Also recommended would be to play another game for a week or two until some more patches are released and more problems are ironed out.
I honestly cannot wait to read more about future additions to the game. Would love to see more vehicles soon, and some more weapons! I am just really excited this is a fun game, and will continue to play this in conjunction with BF3!
If someone quit why would they still check the official forums? Just saying I'm not sure you'll get many responses from players who have quit.
I'm quitting for sure. I paid for a complete game. Instead, I get an extremely bugged game, where enemies stand in place and don't fight back and missions can't be completed. That's when I don't get a critical error preventing me from logging in for extended periods of time.
Hey, maybe it'll get better in a month or so. So many people sing the "MMOs always have hard launches" but seriously?
I'm done for now. Until this game gets some endgame content, increases group sizes, fixes its text and voice chat issues, and gives incentives to run pve and pvp alike other than for completing pursuits there is really no reason to play this game. Overall this game is worthy of a 6.5 rating on 1-10 scale, but it has potential to grow in many areas. I'll keep my eye on this game because it did grab my attention, but my attention is fading quickly to say the least. Until that time there are many other mmos and shooters alike that feel much more polished and complete to waste time playing a game that doesn't have enough content to last more than a week.
this point would be 100% valid if that wasnt one of the easiest way to get those 2500 kills for the pursuit. so its a bold (and false) assumption that everyone who does that has no idea what their doing
you sir (and everyone else who continues to complains about this) have failed
I agree, for now there is nothing to do in this game. No end game content to speak of, no desire to go kill 150 Skitterlings for a better status when the next day I have to get 100 more.
There is no drive to get better in Defiance, look im a 1474 EGO I have done a ton of things in this game to completion and after all is said and done this game is lacking, badly. PvP is ok.. but the only good map was taken away (freight yard). PvE is slow and boring, Ive done everything in this game that I can and it is lacking in the most basic desire to do more.
I come from other MMO's, Dust, DCUO, WoW, Rift and compared to all of those who had the same issues as Trion is with Defiance, at least I had a desire to keep playing. As it is now, after just 2 weeks there is nothing left to do.
PvP wont track my kills, every map it resets to the amount of the previous played match, so i can never get pvp achievements, my guns disappear, mods are repetitive and again lacking.
What game prior to this makes you want to get rid of a gun after you have fully modded and used, just to replace it with another one. Who ever came up with this was a moron..
EGO is worthless, it does nothing for you. So whats the big desire to get it up? In most if not all MMO's (sorry good MMO's) there is a cap, for DCUO and wow it was 30, to start off, but you still got better gear and weapons, more skill points for working harder.. In Defiance you feel like you are going nowhere fast..
I dont blame Trion, I blame the PR guys for forcing them to push out a Alpha product and call it full release because of the TV show, Sadly the TV show will last longer then the game at this point.
