Been playing since it came out and now it's finally annoying. I turned it off until its fixed. Bullets go right through people, weapons disappearing, no keycodes, pursuits not completing, can't talk to friends or anyone in co-op/pvp, hackers, no capture and hold, etc. Sadly I feel I wasted my time with this game.
Wo else has stopped playing?

Sounds like your getting every possible bug, and I doubt many ppl quit who actually enjoy the game. Iwould suggest making sure you have decent internet connection. A wired connection is usually optimal for mmo's.Quote:

my friends and I are slowly getting there. It's to the point now where we can't do anything except for main missions or side missions or else we will lose the ability to communicate as the VOIP is guaranteed to die if any loading screen pops up.
We want to do some of the co-op missions/maybe try PVP but don't feel like restarting the PS3 for the 4th time afterwards so we can hear each other afterwards.
I would certainly be playing more if the Shadow Wars and Coop matchmaking weren't as flawed. It's still fun in short bursts, but dealing with the lobby issues gets to be a pain.

- Which pursuits aren't completing? Have others reported the same thing and Trion is aware of it? Have you submitted a bug report/support ticket for what you've encountered specifically?
- I was doing Explosions 101 last night, people heard me just fine and on the second run, I heard the one other person in the group with a mic just fine
- Hackers? In the PS3 section you're complaining about hackers? You either mean people using as yet unpatched exploits or... idk
- Cap and Hold is a good point, I want that playable as well
I want to be clear I do think this game needs work as do all MMOs when they first launch, but it's still pretty damn fun for me personally. Say you're taking a break and you'll try again after your complaints are addressed, it makes more sense.
I love these types of games and enjoyed this one. After playing daily and multiple bugs every minute it starts wearing you out. I have a good connection. It's not insane fast but it works good and it is also a wired connection. I can play eve or dc universe online perfectly fine. Having to restart your ps3 2-4times to get your mics to work again is ridiculous. My friends and I just gave up on co-op or pvp. Is a mmo that you really can't talk to nobody. Kinda funny in a way.
I didn't experience many bugs at first. Only had the reload,reload,still reloading glitch, mics not working, game freezing my ps3 so i have to pull the powercord, and losing weapons. The more I played the more bugs seemed to happen to me and more frequently happening.
Are you really complaining that they are working out all the issues during the PC/360 patch? When they push the PS3 patch to you it will probably be a lot less painful process. Don't waste everyone's time on the forums with such a stupid thread.

Thats your problem. Comcast sucks. Sorry about not being able to connect. Are there lots of computers or other devices connected to your internet at once? If you have too much active st once they could be hogging your bandwidth to the point you cannot do anything on Defisnce. Ususlly, these types of games take a good amount of bandwidth to get a good connection.Quote:

Trihard dropped the ball with defiance, the games been out how long and everyone is getting bored with it, (2 weeks) people will move on to the next game, and so on. Defiance may have had potential, but face it with all the bugs and tech issues going on in this game, it will have no growth potential if they cant fix anything. I have to second that, It could takes a few patches to fix everything, but that takes time for everyone to report them. I love the game, I think the players could be more social, been really quite.

i dont play as often, but i havent stopped. it doesnt make any sense why so many of the bugs are still in this game. it makes trying out the beta useless, especially only because it was about 20 hours worth for 5 days. i just want the game to play without the random freezes or in my case, when the disc completely stops spinning. i said the heck with the competitive mp because its garbage. all everyone seems to want to do is use shotguns and stay cloaked. just waiting on trion to bring back freight yard so i can get that last competitive mp trophy and be done with it all together.
Nope I do not plan on quitting anytime soon if at all for along time. I'm obsessed with this game at the moment. Plus the show making the story and bring me even more content to achieve is a huge plus for me. Even with DLC coming out along with Patch improvements and other added features. This game is only going to get better.
