Reminds me of DCUO early days.. Game had so many more issues than this one and they tried to fix the issues as quickly as possible too... But they ended up making it worse their first few tries. They didn't communicate half as well as Trion has so far. I know people are upset and frustrated... I take it as a compliment to the game really. Obviously people like it or the wouldn't complain so much.
Anyways my point being is its nice to see the Devs fess up and admit they made errors. That they are working on it and are embarrassed by it. Means they care about their work and care what we think about their work. That tells me they will work hard at fixing these issues as soon as possible... With maybe I a bit more tempered rush this time ;)

Hands down, Trion is one of the most transparent companies in Gaming as a whole. Most companies are willing to talk and at least touch base once a week in alphas and betas, but then after launch, it's almost dead silence till the game closes it's doors.

RIFT worked out so well, in large part of Trion working their ***** off, dispute it being a WOW-ish clone (They even advertised it as such, one of the best advertising hooks in years, right up there with the Old Spice Guy and The Most Interesting Man in the World. XD) .

This is why I have faith in Trion's ability to fix the game. Despite other little things being wrong, the Core of the game is nearly untarnished (at least it has been for me) and with that ridiculous stable base, the Trion Team has been making headway to fixing the rest.

Gladly, I can say I personally do not feel like this game is going to way of Tabula Rasa.

Well admittedly it is hard to top getting your game cancelled while you launch yourself into space.:cool:

I believe they are trying their best. The only other game I've played from Trion was Rift and they were great there.

I was an Alpha tester and I stand ready to hop on the TestLive as soon as it is re-activated. Together the community and Trion can make Defiance cool.
