Stop Throwing Random Clan Invites!

Well, you know that for some in the MMO world there is validation in building a clan/guild numbers-wise. A number of them fail because in that building process they fail in the basic "are we like minded/do we play for the same reason" function. Your approach (and gaming philosophy) is a good one, and John, you will find a number of old gamers (yeah, I'm in that group too) who just play for the fun of it rather than for some sort of bragging right. Looks as though you already have found one or two folks like that. :)

I have not seen a clan invite yet and would be highly interested in one. Game name is Britannicus64 and character is Caius Tiberius.

I random invite all the time. I'm 31 and play to have fun. I random invite and fill up my clans and guilds in MMOs because it actually works really well for meeting people and making friends.

Five minutes after i invited ten people i was in a full group of clanmates running missions together. It was great fun.

It worked very well in Rift and Guild Wars 2 as well. The key is to get in on the opening week.

yup, it's called making yourself a 1 man clan. stopped all the spamming for me.
