Likely a bonus to how much Ark salvage drops when you kill/accomplish stuff. Ark Salvage is a type of currency found in the game which is used in quite a few different ways, from modding gear to buying stuff.
Alternative currency used for weapon modifications and lockbox purchases.

It's not a bonus to drops, it's just a lump sum (I didn't pay attention to how much it was). The item shows up in your marketplace claims area.
You can check all of your current resources by going to the Character Screen, then going to the Stats tab.
Ark Salvage is used in item modifications.
I believe it gave me 1000 Salvage when I redeemed it.
