    Modification guide/help please
Started the game a few days ago, after entering the 120 Ark Hunter codes on the web site.

Gone through the game doing main and side missions, collecting a lot of mod parts. EGO is currently over 100.

However, I can't figure out how to remove/change/add mods to weapons.

Since getting over 100 EGO, I can add mod slots, but whenever I click on a weapon, it just goes to the currently installed mod, with no option shown for selecting empty slots or swapping out the existing mod.

Some of he mod parts do match the weapon types, so it's not a case of trying with the wrong part.

You can mod equipped guns but you CANNOT add mod spots to equipped guns.

You have to have enough salvage to add mod spots. That might be your issue.

you need to add mod slots to your weapon of choice then attach the mod that correlates with that open slot i.e. a pistol mag mod on a pistol with an open pistol mag slot. You have to spend cash. Not all weapons can be modded. If you look on the image of your weapon in your inventory you will see 4 little boxes under it with either ---- in them which signifies you can't add a mod or you may see the boxes greyed out with means you need to add mod slots then after you have successfully added a mod slot the grey box becomes white and THEN you attach the mod needed. It usually takes 10 minutes to add a mod slot. The counter in your salvage matrix will count down from 10 minutes. After which you can add your attachment. Hope this wasn't confusing. There are some sweet you tube video tutorials check them out.

Sorry I forgot, like he said you can't mod or attach or anything to a weapon you have equipped, the weapon equipped has a little E on it in your inventory.

    I think you misunderstood.

I can add mod slots to certain weapons, but I can't figure out how to put a mod item in the slots.

e.g. I looted a combat shotgun which had four slots, one of which has a stock already fitted.
I have two mod parts for shotguns, a sight and a magazine part, but I just can't see how I put them in the slots.

I tried YT, but so mny vids go through options/stuff which mine doesn't show.

You mention slots with --- in, which I just thought meant it was empty, but it sounds like I need to 'make' those slots open to accept parts.

    Thanks, will try again. :-)

You need to open the slots. Are the boxes with the mag, stock, site etc icons grey or white?

Gah, typing posts in these forums is laggier than the game. ;-)

I can't recall what colour they are, so will check later.
