Shadow Wars Newbish Questions

Now, I understand that Shadow Wars is a take and hold sort of deal and that you gain points in respect to the amount of 'arkfalls' you have under your control.

How do you tell what team you're on? I've followed the scoreboard and the winner is always a surprise to me.

Like, recently, My team [blue] was supposedly winning pretty hard (enemy wasn't even half way and we were 200 or so off from the pt goal). It reaches the end point and boom-DEFEATED. This happens a fair bit. So I don't know what's going on there.

Also, are you supposed to just use shotguns? I can't help but note how nearly everyone is just running around with a shotgun.

I agree the interface is horrible in death matches. I have noooooooooooo idea what team I'm either.

Shotgun seems the choice. Need something for variety.

I have this same issue. I never know who's winning or what time is mine. I swear like it feels as if I'm winning by holding several points all game and jut ending in defeat. I just don't get it. It really pisses me off that we need it for the episode two pursuit. I can never win.

Same issue. Im 110% sure my team was winning/won but it came up as defeat. This game is just constantly pissing me off. and the lack of support from the mods on this forum is another issue. This is an obvious problem that multiple people are having and yet not a single response.

It's confusing, but no. You don't need to use a shotgun..unless you don't have the knowledge of how to properly kill with a weapon that actually requires some skill. Because really..it's sad when three or more people are shooting at me with shotguns and i still manage to kill at least one of them..unless it's a sawed off shotgun.

I never know who is winning while playing Shadow war, I feel like i'm winning by the capture points then lose.

I don't believe that you have a team, I think you just shoot whatever shows up red and just hope that by the end of the match that your maniacal shooting has been successful.

Glad to see that other people are having issue with this.

I like the game. But the interface in this game for deathmatches is plain horrible and needs to be updated.

How game made finishing stages in this form is beyond me.

Wow - I thought it was just me. Glad to see others feel the same way. I was playing a game of Shadow Wars yesterday, and it looked like my team was getting killed. We couldn't hold any of the positions for long. When it seemed like the other team was about to finish things, all of a sudden the "Victory" screen popped up! What?

I'm still confused about when one can play Shadow Wars. Is it ONLY when the circle opens up? That's been like twice in the last week while I've been playing...
