Defiance show connectivity with the game
Alrighty so I've been threw few mmos's in my time aswell as sifi shows n defiance(as a whole) is not something I can sum up in one breath
Tv show/game as one - I can see where the show and game take place roughly within the same "world" but I saw very few connections as a player of the game and from what I understood from trion was that the show and the game would make u feel involved like YOU would make a difference and it would roughly appear as small cameos in the show I was honestly expecting a small bit of dialogue such as "oh yeah that one ark hunter we ran into who helped us out" or something leaving the player/watcher (having played the game) "ecstatic with that's was me!!!!!" All I honestly seemed to notice was a SMALL reference to that crystal the votan bikers stole in wich Nolan says "you don't know what I had to do to get that" I mean eh even in the first 10 min of the show the ark fall looks nothing like it does in the game it doesn't feel the same the loot drop is no where near the same, the sense of "ark hunting" feels NOTHING like it did in the game heck even alien animal species that were seen never even show up in the game as a abid player of the game having played it I feel no real sense of connectivity towards the show besides hearing some one say "shtako" every 5min I'm hoping for more connectivity in defiances future this game and show could go places it's up to trion n syfy to lead it there.
