Enemy Shields the monitors use

I think if you have to get behind a dark matter monitor to shoot him....i.e. you can't shoot through the shield....i think you should be able to use it as cover while killing him its only fair just saying if we cant shoot through why can they......i know it makes sense oops

Use a fire weapon like the incinerator, bonfire, or northstar. Lights the Monitor on fire through the shield.

Also, anyone else want the shield thing as an EGO power?

I do would help guys like me that like LMG..does no damage *cough*...for that power


Besides ii know how to stop the shield i am just saying why cant we hide behind it while killing the monitor Please read forum :)

I think the idea is that the shields block all weaponry except for the special guns the Dark Matter use. Has anyone tried to hide behind the shields when other enemies are shooting at them? I know there are events with mutants and Dark Matter, at least.

*shrugs* you have a good point, and I'll counter with this

usually the monitor deploys the shield behind an APC or wall anyways, or in a doorway...

but as to why they can shoot at us?
