Not sure about hacked, but I just jumped 700 EGO.
Buying up all the EGO, that's what is up... and then hoping they roll back. :(
Yeah, have a friend that just jumped to 1304 EGO. He was disconnected and this happened. I was fine, but I did lose all my weapons that I was adding mod slots to last night when I got back on today.
This game should NOT have real money transactions with these sorts of problems, I smell legal problems.
Still have the same EGO and didn't disconnect... I want my EGO boost lol !
Still 1890 EGO and I didn't DC...
I'd like a boost over 2000 though. The extra perk slot would be most welcome :P
ego 387 to over 1200 now once I got DCed.

OMG! wth is going on?! I logged on played a few missions. Then went on the forums to see read up on game info and what not. I got booted from the game. Logged back on and got slapped with this whole mess. . . . > .> Really hoping for a roll back cause I rather earn my ego levels. I jumped from 600ish to 1399. . . .cool, but really lame at the same time.
When it happened to me I was playing, disconnected, and then restarted the game. When I logged back in i was ported across the map somewhere wearing the peacekeeper outfit with a much higher EGO rating. Everyone around me was experiencing the same thing.
Same, same thing seems to have happened to everyone that was logged in and playing at the time...

I jumped from 250 to 1329
My ego only went up a couple hundred, but my weapons skills rolled down to 2, 3, from high teens and 20s....
Would be nice to hear from Trion on this problem.
I wasn't playing at the time. I had gone offline for a break, and came back online to 1344 ego rating, 54 additional ego points to use, and in different gear at a different place.Quote:

General view is that everyone's characters stats got switched with other characters.
Which kinda makes sense since since the new stats don't really same random, but generally those over 2k in ego rating went down while low ego ratings went up.
My fiance and I both checked our weapons skills... they are identical, which they weren't even close before. I have a feeling everyones are identical now. I suggest no one do anything important as I see a rollback coming.
good thing dead island riptide is out soon. with hacks like these this game will fail fast

That wasn't a hack, just a server glitch. They'll fix it soon. Just be prepared for the numbers to get messed up and people crying "Now I lost x amount of EGO rating, less than I had before the glitch!"
My mains weapon skills just got reset...not happy at all.

Yea saw that myself I only gained like 300 ego or so which I could care less about but with a rollback of a few hrs should fix everything, hopefully.
My character that was in the tutorial is now stuck outside of the tutorial and with a higher ego rating than my main, the weapon skills are low though.
It will all get set back. Something wonky is going on, whether a hack or a glitch... we all have the same stats. They will fix it soon, I am sure.Quote:
