It looks extremly sketchy/fake but after confirming my email adress I got a functional xbox 360 defiance marketplace code which let me download and play the beta.

well im downloading defiance on my xbox as well, kinda makes me wondor whats going on though, its still downloading and I haven't tried to launch anything.
I'm gonna wait until the actual beta in case it affects my pre orders. Was tempted though

im gonna continue the download from the marketplace, I would assume Microsoft has a decent lock on their downloadable content, however I think im gonna just wait till the 25 to try and log in so I don't breach any agreements myself or trion has made and screw myself up or anything. I also have a pc beta code im gonna try on my pc so I can wait a day or 2 for that one.

Yeah, seems like this has been unlocked too early by someone at Microsoft. Stuff like does happen, got Fable 2 DD for free a while ago when it accidentally got put up for free.

I think getting the code is fine. It looks like a legitimate way to get it, it's just the beta that the code works for shouldn't be able to be downloaded yet. But considering this isn't like torrenting the game, it's just a **** up at MS's end. So they shouldn't be too harsh on people that try it out.Quote:
