How to get more outfits?

So, I know that you can buy a couple of headgear pieces from the supply vendor near the crash site at the beginning, and that there are a few outfits that you unlock by completing pursuits... is there any other way to get new outfits/headgear? Are there other vendors that sell apparel?

I know there are also some outfits you can buy with "bits" in the store, but I was hoping there would be other ways to get more just using in-game currency.

Damn near every "final" pursuit unlocks something, be it headgear, outfit, or both. Check them out under "Goals".

Completing main story missions gives you outfits. Quite a few of the pursuits do as well.

Some of the co-op pursuits are the easiest to get some of the cooler outfits, (often include e.g. kill the boss without dying, collect 3 data recorders located in the given co op map). Details are found under goals, coop.

I just recently unlocked the EMC heavy trooper outfit from the scrapworks co-OP mission. By far the best I have so far.
