Classes you want to see...
Hi all, SteelPaladin here to throw a few ideas around considering possible classes for a FPS mmo.
Scout- some sort of enhanced vision equipment, marking enemies, faster movement by vehicles, some type of "heads up buff" for the group if they let a scout do his thing before group engagement.
Sniper- silent/concealed movement, some type of buff while using sniper class rifles, Major buff to accuracy and sight-picture if within 10' of Scout class, some type of "distraction" action to lure mobs away from sniper/ alter LOS.
Infantry- Faster movement by foot, increased rate of fire and hip shot accuracy w/ Infantry weapons, increased damage if within 10' of another Infantry class/ bonus firing skills unlocked by being close etc., bonus to cover fighting.
Heavy Infantry- bonus damage, accuracy, reload speed to Hvy weapons, bonus hip fire acc/dam to secondary pistols, bonus to flak/armor/shields, bonus to thrown projectiles.
Medic/Healer- major ground movement bonus, 3x the bonus using/applying heals to self and others, reduced Aggro on the field concerning AI bots, specialized one handed firearm damage/actions while healing.
Sapper- major bonus dam to vehicles, bldgs, turrets, walls. Class specific explosives w bonus dam/range/AOE, some type of active camo while near vehicles, bldgs, turrets, walls., unmarkable by AI bots.
Commander- Overall buff to group if within 100', bonus damage to target by others if enemy bot or vehicle is fired upon once marked by this class, bonus dam/range to assault type weapons, able to see all enemies on the immediate field of battle once seen by himself or others.
And so on...lol, probably wont have/need any of this rambling mess, but i had fun writing it nonetheless.
