hey noob question so plz bare with me, how do you link your console? i inputed the code and downloaded game is there something else you have to do? i didnt get any other info about it in the email

You actually dont need to link your console to participate in the beta. I'm just speculating that our problem(s) have to do with whether we initially linked our consoles earlier today.Quote:

Foe users having authentication issues... are you able to download the Beta at all? or is this error happening after install?
I agree. This does make me a little uneasy about my preorder. I've never had anything disrupt my service like this. I gotta feel that it's not affecting many or there'd be more than a handful of members posting here.Quote:

Same, finally worked for me as well. What I did was ran a network setting connection test and noticed a little message at the top that said disconnected from media server. Now I'm able to get into the PS Store and defiance but now I can't connect with my bro cuz it's saying can't find him online and vice versa for him. xD When clearly we're both online and in defiance. lolQuote:

I can use the Internet browser no problem and when I do redo the network settings and run the connection test it obtains an IP and Internet connection just fine but always fails to connect to the PSN. I also disabled the media server but no luck. I have three accounts on my PS3 and the only one that can't connect to the PSN or launch the beta is my main PSN ID.Quote:
